About Me.

Sanna Gillerfors is a Swedish Baroque cellist, modern cellist and church musician. She started playing the cello at the age of six and later also piano, organ and singing. She studied modern cello in the Danish National Academy of Music with professor Niels Ullner and Dorothea Wolff and at Maastricht Conservatorium with Ursula Smith. She then moved to Belgium, studying Baroque cellos (five-stringed instruments and bass violin aswell) at Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles with Hervé Douchy and Frédérique Aronica. She has participated in masterclasses with Lars Ulrik Mortensen, Stephan Schultz and Gaetano Nasillo among others. Sanna currently freelances and works as a musician in the Swedish Church in Brussels.
